The following is a guide to buying the right size quilt for your bed. Consider the size of the mattress, the amount of drop, and the desired amount of pillow tuck. Mattress width and length are standard, but the thickness and height varies, as does the height of beds from the floor. Adding a dust ruffle and/or shams increases the versatility of smaller quilts.
