The Antique Quilt Source, Inc. was established as a home based business, specializing in quality Pennsylvania antique quilts.  Originally, The Antique Quilt Source began as a catalog business and has grown to include internet sales. 

Known for their high quality and craftsmanship, we feature Pennsylvania German, Amish, and Mennonite quilts of the last half of the 19th century through the mid-20th century.  For over 25 years, we have been personally selecting high quality traditional American quilts, searching for textiles in excellent condition, with outstanding color, graphics, and workmanship.  Although most of our purchases are from Pennsylvania, we buy from sources nationwide when quality quilts are available.

The Antique Quilt Source, Inc. was established by Alicelee Graf Edgerton in 1979 and was purchased by Glenda and David Strong in 2000.  They are personally involved in the business.   Glenda graduated from Millersville University with a degree in accounting. After her three daughters were grown, she focused her attention on antique quilts, long an interest of hers. As a young girl, she watched her Mennonite grandmothers meticulously quilt beautiful and wonderful pieces. Her mother took her as a small child to sewing circles where women made quilts and other items to help various charities. She learned to sew at a young age and enjoys antiquing with her husband Dave.
